Etiwanda (Calif.) 2016 cornerback Treyjohn Butler (5-11.5, 180), is holding three Pac-12 offers and that list could grow immensely throughout his junior year.

Washington offered Butler last week and followed California and Washington State in offering the early four-star.

“I’m also hearing from Stanford, UCLA, USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Northwestern and Texas A&M,” said Butler.

Butler checked out a Bruin practice and liked what he saw.

“I think UCLA has a good program, with fast tempo and they’re moving around a lot,” said Butler. “Coach Meat (Demetrice Martin) and Coach (Jim) Mora are recruiting me and I like the style which they coach their DBs. They listen to them.”

Butler is also hoping to visit USC before the season starts.

“I’m making an attempt to get over there before the season gets going but I’ll definitely try to see them this season,” said Butler.

In fact, Butler said he plans to attend as many UCLA and USC home games as he can.

Stanford had Butler in for an unofficial visit and their camp.

“I took an unofficial to Stanford and camped there too and they have a great program, both on and off the field,” said Butler. “The campus and the coaches are amazing. Everything they do is in unison.”

The Cardinal are big factor in Butler’s recruitment.

“Stanford is definitely my dream school,” said Butler. “Coach (Duane) Akina is recruiting me for them.”

Butler said most schools like him as a corner, but safety and slot have also been brought up.

With two seasons to play before he’ll sign anywhere, Butler said he’ll put recruiting on the back burner this fall.

“I want to focus on my season and then after this year, I’ll take it on fully,” said Butler.

Academically, Butler has a 4.2 and will take the SAT and ACT his junior year.
