| An explosive back who can be used in a variety of roles. Has great feet and change of direction ability and makes many people miss in the open field. When he finds a crease, burst and acceleration are good and has breakaway capabilities. Is a fine receiver out of the backfield and has experience playing slot and split. Must continue to add size and strength, as power running needs to be improved. Shows willingness and aggressiveness as a blocker. |

| As a junior, Austin White rushed 228 times for 1,610 yards and 28 touchdowns. He gained 279 yards on nine kickoff returns and hauled in 21 receptions for 310 yards and four touchdowns. White says he can bench 255-pounds and claims a 36-inch vertical jump.
2007: Austin along with brothers Myles (Michigan State) and Mitchell finished the football season with a 13-1 losing in the State finals to Macomb Dakota. Austin finished his sophomore season with 200 carries, 1,603 rushing yards, including a long of 80-yards and 25 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 19 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns. On defense he had one interception which he returned for a touchdown. He also totaled 14 kickoff reutrns for 371 yards and one TD with a long return of 90 yards.
White plans on majoring in business and reports a 2.7 core GPA, no test.
White: “I’d say I have great speed and vision. A lot of coaches like my versatility and that I can come out of the backfield and make catches. I’m very athletic, but I want to be more powerful.
“I’d like to be a stronger runner. And punish the defenders more.”
