| He's the most athletic big man in the state of Florida for the Class of 2009. His quickness off the ball is very impressive. He doesn't have to utilize much technique or use too many moves when rushing the passer because he usually wins with straight quickness. He's a little short but makes up for it with playing with a low center of gravity and just doing a nice job of creating pressure on nearly every snap. -- Mike Bakas |

2008: McDaniel was named Parade All-American and participated in the Under Armour All-American Game, he was named #5 on the Mobile Register's Super Southeast 120, FSWA 2A First Team All-State.
2007: 38 Pin Blocks; 89% grade from right guard position; eight sacks, 62 tackles and 21 tackles for loss from his nose guard position.
