Green has been a shutdown cornerback for one of the top defenses in the state over the last two years.
2007 Senior Stats Green made 45 tackles, four interceptions with 61 return yards, he deflected 13 passes and recovered two fumbles.
On special Teams Green had eight punt returns for 165 yards (20.50 yds per return) with a 47 yard long. Two kickoff returns that resulted in 75 yards, but one of those kicks was his longest, 75 yards. Green also caught one pass for 11 yards.
2007 Awards:First Team All-State defensive back 2A; All Metro, AJC Super Southern 100, Press Register Super Southeast 120 #41.
2006 Junior stats: Green picked off 4 passes, broke up 15 more and logged 30 tackles.
He benches 295 pounds, squats 410 and has a 33-inch vertical jump.
Green: "I cover good. Some people call me a 'lockdown corner'. I have great closing speed and awareness, but I still want to get faster. You can never be fast enough. I really want to run quicker routes and slants and work on my burst."
