| Suffered a Neck Injury in 2nd game in 2005, and eventually sat out the entire Big 10 season. Before the injury, he looked to become one of NU's top pass rushers from DE.
Gained 15 lbs over the winter.

Freshman All-Big Ten team, Honorable mention All-Big Ten selection (media), Team’s NGN Defensive Newcomer of the Year Award recipient
51 Tackles on Season 9 for loss, 1 fumble recovery and 1 forced fumble. 4.5 Sacks and an interception rounds out the numbers. Will be pushed by Ngene, but should be NU's top defensive lineman in 2007.
