| Biography: |
| After playing his junior year at Culver City (Calif.) High, linebacker Mark Johnson transferred to Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey to play his senior year. Last season he tallied 138 tackles, 5 sacks and an interceptions and recorded double-digit tackles in all 11 games, including 22 against Point Loma.
He benches 300 pounds, squats 500 pounds and has a 37-inch vertical jump.
Johnson reports a 2.5 GPA/1350 SAT (new version)--October retake.
Johnson: "I'm physical and I do whatever I can to help my team. I'm good at getting to the ball because I have great instincts and move well. I get to the ball and I like to hit and I can really run.
"I still want to get stronger and faster because it's all about power and speed. I also want to work on getting more interceptions and react better."
