| Excellent size. Physically intimidating for a defensive back. Athletic enough to play on either side of the ball in college. Can come off a spot and accelerate very quickly. Smooth. Quick feet and elusive. Shows elusiveness as a punt and kick returner. Hits like a linebacker. Has an extra gear. |
| Biography: |
| Brown will be a four-year varsity starter on both sides of the football in 2005. He had 1,700 all-purpose yards as a junior (13-1 record) and 17 TDs. On defense, Brown had 30 solo tackles and three interceptions. He was named all-state by the Indiana Coaches Association as well as the AP; Bench: 350/Squat: 500/Power Clean: 320/Vert Jump: 35"
Brown: "I've been told that I'm a safety with cornerback abilities. I've got great lockdown skills and I can get up and jam a receiver no matter how big or fast they are. I run well and use my hips well too. This is going to be my first year playing safety so I need to work on reading the quarterback's eyes more, and pick up my progressions more too.
"I’m versatile. I like rushing and receiving but I also like hitting and dishing out some punishment. I try to be explosive and elusive. I just want to get on the field and play.
"The coaches at Michigan and Notre Dame are looking at me more as a safety now because they think I'm going to get too big to play corner."
