Austin White says he followed LSU, which recently offered, as a youngster. “I liked them a lot in the sixth grade,” White said. “I also really liked Michigan State because both my parents went there (dad ran track). But it’s not like I was some diehard fan or anything, plus my parents are behind me 100 percent.” He said his other favorites are Michigan, Iowa and Illinois and all have offered.
