Wright, Boren, and Mixon Ohio All-State

Michigan commitment Bryan Wright of Salem, Ohio High School, who recently pledged to sign with Michigan on Signing Day, was named to the First Team Division III Ohio All-State team, according to his father. Two other Michigan commitments, offensive lineman Justin Boren of Pickerington East, and linebacker Cobrani Mixon of Colerain, were also give All-State honors.
Michigan kicker commitment Bryan Wright of Salem High School was recently named to the Division III All-Ohio First Team, according to his father, Bob Wright, In an e-mail sent to GoBlueWolverine.com, the senior Wright also mentioned a pair of other Michigan commitments named to the team. "All three Ohio commits to the Wolverines have been picked First team All-Ohio," Wirght said. "Justin Boren and Cobrani Mixon in Division I and (Bryan) Wright , Division III. This is Bryan's second year First team All-Ohio."
Wright has the second longest field goal in Ohio high school history, a 57-yard shot on Oct. 14. The record is 60-yards by B.J. Sanders of Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati, set in 1998.
Note: the Div. I, II, III, IV Ohio All State teams have not yet been announced, so this was a 'tip-off' to GBW.
