A.J. Jordan Lands Coveted Offer
"I was in school and coach called me down to his room and put me on the phone with Coach Dews," Jordan told GoBlueWolverine. "They let me know they had offered me. Both Coach Dews and Coach Rodriguez told me they were looking at me hard and the offer was on the table."
The Wolverines offer definitely caught Jordan's eye, and made quite an impression on the Buckeye State star.
"It feels real good. I'm really excited about it. I can't wait to get down there again."
The Wolverines have a few aces up their sleeves in recruiting Jordan - namely several Trotwood-Madison alumnus, including fellow receiver Roy Roundtree.
"We're really close," Jordan said of he and Roy. "When I was a freshman he was a senior and took me under his wing. We worked together and he's really cool. I know if I went up there I'd feel really comfortable. He's telling me it's good up there and they could get me in the system and make some plays."
The Maize and Blue certainly are up on a pedestal in the early process of Jordan's recruitment, but they have some fellow competition with some Big Ten schools.
"They're one of my top schools on my list. I also like Illinois, Cincinnati and Purdue. I'm still trying to evaluate everything right now in terms of who will be on my list."
Jordan may get back into Ann Arbor relatively soon for the Wolverines annual BBQ at the Big House, but it isn't 100% set in stone yet.
"Yeah, I'm trying to get back up there for that. I want to meet with the coaches and get to know them better and see more of the campus."
One university will find themselves very lucky soon, as a decision may be coming within the next few months for the four star receiver.
"I'd like to have my decision all taken care of before my senior year starts."
