Wolverines Join Mix For Kline

Pennsylvania linebacker Ben Kline has been slowly accumulating a nice offer sheet. Kline had been to Ann Arbor twice and had been hoping for a Michigan offer. This weekend the Wolverines made their move.

Dallastown (Pa.) three-star outside linebacker Ben Kline has been picking up some impressive offers from the likes of Rutgers, Maryland, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Connecticut. This weekend he added one that he has been waiting for.

"I just wanted to let you know that Michigan offered," Kline said. "I really like Michigan when I was out there for a game and for junior day. The facilities are incredible and I liked the meeting I had with strength and conditioning coach (Mike Barwis). That's going to be a big factor in my decision.

I liked the way the campus is not a big city, but it isn't in the middle of nowhere either," Kline continued. "It's a school I have liked since I was a little kid and I really wanted to get an offer from. I like the coaches there a lot."

Back in January, we interviewed Kline after his junior day visit to Michigan and he was very impressed with what the Wolverines had to offer.

"It was real nice there," he said. "We went to the basketball game. I was there in football season for the Purdue game. It was nice to see the coaches again and kind of catch up with them."

Kline, 6-foot-2 and 220-pounds recorded 107 tackles (63) solo and one sack. He has 13 carries for 156 yards and four touchdowns. He has also caught 24 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns as a senior.
