Going up to Michigan is nothing new for Austin White, but that doesn't make any trip up there less enjoyable for the Wolverine commit.
"I had a great time on my official," he said. "I think my family did too. I've been there so many times. I feel so comfortable there. It's really nice to go up there and experience it."
White was hosted by Mike Cox and had a chance to take in more of dorm life than he had previously, a timely experience for the early enrollee.
"I got to see the dorms. I ate in the dorms. I got the experience of actually going places and seeing what it was going to be like. I think it was good to do, because graduating in January and I'll be there soon.
West Quad will be White's new residance. He says he has not determined who his roommate will be yet, although Ann Arbor Pioneer's Ricardo Miller is a possibility.
There were several fellow commits on their officials this weekend, as well as a couple of key targets for the Wolverines.
"Most people there were committed, but the safety from California (Sean Parker) was there. I talked to him a little bit, but didn't get to see him much. [Johnathan Hankins] was there and he looked like he enjoyed himself. I talked to him a little, but he was a quiet guy. From his facial expressions, it looked like he had a good time."
As a senior, White rushed for over 1,500 yards and 21 touchdowns.
