The game was 10-10 tie after the first quarter. Then U-M broke out for two second quarter scores to lead 24-10 at the break. Brandon Minor had 101 yds. on 7 carries, and 2 TDs.

Purdue Possession #1
Purdue took the kickback at their 20.
Purdue ran for a 1st down to the U-M 49.
On the next play Purdue passed for a 2nd 1st down at the U-M 35.
On the next play Purdue threw for the TD at the 13:15 mark.

Purdue 7, Michigan 0 U-M Possession #1
Daryl Stonum took the kickoff to the U-M 19.
(Omameh at RG) On the first play Brandon Minor ran for a 1st down to the U-M 29.
Then Tate Forcier was sacked -7, but Forcier completed a pass to Roy Roundtree the U-M 49 on a near-interception.

On the next play Rountree caught a pass to the Purdue 40.
On the next play Rountree caught a pass to the Purdue 29.
ON the next play Minor scrambled and ran it in for the TD at the 10:53 mark.

Purdue 7, Michigan 7

Purdue Possession #2
Purdue took the kickback at their 23.
On 3rd down Purdue completed a pass-run to the Purdue 41.
On the next play Purdue completed a pass to the U-M 30.
The drive stalled at the U-M 23, and Purdue kicked a 40 yard field goal at the 7:42 mark.

Purdue 10, Michigan 7

U-M Possession #2
Stonum took the kickoff from the U-M 5 to the Purdue 40.
Roundtree caught a pass to the Purdue 29.
There the drive stalled and Jason Olesnavage kicked a 51 yard field goal at the 6:02 mark.

Purdue 10, Michigan 10

Purdue Possession #3
Purdue returned the kickback to their 18.
A 10 yard run and a U-M personal foul took the ball to the Purdue 48.
Purdue got a 2nd 1st down to the U-M 37.
On 3rd down the Purdue QB was hit a he threw and Kevin Leach intercepted at the U-M 27 at the 2:19 mark.

U-M Possession #3
(Denard Robinson in at QB) On 3rd down Tate scrambled for a 1st down to the U-M 39.
Roundtree caught a pass for a 2nd 1st down at the 50.

First Quarter Stats
U-M gained 110 yards, 50 rushing and 60 passing.
Purdue gained 166 yards, 42 rushing and 124 passing.

SECOND QUARTER

On the next play Minor ran it 50 yards for the score at the 14:52 mark.

Purdue returned the kickback to their 40.
On 3rd down Purdue three for a 1st down to the U-M 49.
There the drive stalled at the 11:38 mark.

U-M Possession #4
Junior Hemingway fair catched the punt at the U-M 8.
On 3rd down Kevin Koger caught a pass to the U-M 21.
On the next play Laterryal Savoy caught a pass at the U-M 43.
Tate scrambled to the Purdue 39.
Tate threw a pass over the middle to Roundtree at the 8:41 mark.

Michigan 24, Purdue 10

Purdue Possession #5
Purdue returned the kickback to their 24.
Purdue completed a pass to their 39.
On 3rd down Donovan Warren intercepted at the Purdue 49 at the 5:59 mark.

U-M Possession #5
On 2nd down Forcier's arm was hit and he fumbled, recovered by U-M, and U-M had to punt at the 4:42 mark.

U-M Possession #6
Purdue fair-caught the Zoltan Mesko punt at the Purdue 18.
On the 1st play Purdue completed a pass to the Purdue 30.
Purdue got a 2nd 1st down to the Purdue 40.
Purdue got a 3rd 1st down to the U-M 49.
Two penalties killed the drive and the half ended.

HALFTIME STATS

U-M gained 256 yards, 117 rushing and 139 passing.
Purdue gained 245 yards, 58 rushing and 187 passing.
Forcier was 10-14 for 139 yds and a TD.
