Buckeye Sports caught up with Steve Miller after an impressive day at Buckeyes Senior Advance Camp.
2011 Star D-Lineman Visits Michigan
Miller traveled with teammate Jewone Snow, and with his father. While may have been overshadowed by all the upperclassmen, the most important eyes identified Miller.
"Man, it was nice," he told GoBlueWolverine. "I talked to all the coaches, and the recruiting coordinator."
Although he enjoyed the game, he was more excited about what seemed like the red carpet treatment.
"They took me on the field, and into the locker room. Then I saw the weight room, and the workouts the team does."
Miller has been on previous visits to West Virginia and Ohio State. When asked to compare those trips to his Michigan visit, one thing seemed to stick out.
"I know that Michigan has the better weight room."
Although it's early in his recruitment, the youngster acknowledges the school that lands his good friend and teammate Jewone Snow, could have leg up in his recruitment.
"Yeah, it could play a part, and help with my decision."
In addition to Michigan, Ohio State, and West Virginia, Miller would like to hear more from UCLA and Florida.
Last season, Miller had 116 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He's scheduled to attend the Nike Camp at Penn State on May 2nd.
