Furrha Wants a Fair Shake

Nader Furrha has played for the last few seasons in the shadow of the Big House, just across the street as a matter of fact, at Ann Arbor Pioneer. While he had opportunities to go elsewhere, he decided to stay at home and walk-on with the Wolverines where he is determined to beat the odds and contribute.

Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez has made no secret of wanting to strengthen the Wolverines' walk-on program. Why not? Several players rose from the ranks of the unknown, walked-on and contributed on Rodriguez's Big East Champion West Virginia teams. Now, he is trying to bring that to Ann Arbor and he did not have to look far to start it off as Pioneer High quarterback Nader Furrha...
