Physical, hard working and tough, Rocko Khoury lives up to his nickname. The Traverse City product earned himself a Wolverine offer this summer and could line up at a number of spots along the offensive line for the maize and blue. (Video Included)

His Recruiting Story:
A strong and physical offensive tackle, Khoury has started since his freshman season at Traverse City Central. He was named all-region and all-state as a junior and has transferred to rival Traverse City West High School where he played as a senior and earned 1st team All-State honors as well as the Great 8 Mich. Top Off. Lineman Award, Prep Star All-Region team, Detroit Free Press All-State Dream Team & Academic Award, All-Conference 1st Team Offense and Defense, Detroit News Dream Team and Record Eagle All-Region Dream Team.
He has played tackle primarily, but has occasionally moved inside to guard. Although Coach Rodriguez called him a tackle at his Signing Day presser, Khoury may end up an interior player at Michigan and could even try his hand at center.
Coming into this summer’s Wolverine Technique School, Khoury had already held offers from all the other Michigan schools: MSU, WMU, EMU and CMU and had visited Notre Dame among others. At camp, he battled for an offer against a number of other outstanding lineman and came away as one of the top performers during the week.
An offer was extended and wanting to make sure he had a home in Ann Arbor, Khoury wasted little time and committed to Michigan less than two weeks later.
"I didn't know about the early offers," he said, "and there are a number of linemen they are looking at and if another commits, you can lose your offer, I didn't know that so I was kind of riding it out."
GoBlueWolverine Commentary
Khoury is the type of lineman who seems to excel in the Big Ten. He isn’t super big or super fast, but he works hard, he is tough and technically sound. He will get to Ann Arbor and do everything off the field to make himself successful. The interior may the right place for him - although Coach Rodriguez talked about him as a tackle at the Signing Day presser. He has the look of a player who can contribute down the road.
