Four Icer's to Skate in World Junior's

Four members of the Michigan ice hockey team have been selected to skate for their countries at the upcoming 2008 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championships scheduled to take place from December 26 through January 5 hosted this year by the Czech Republic.
Four Wolverines will be representing their countries while skating in the upcoming 2008 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championships hosted this season by the Czech Republic.
Skating for Team USA,
Chris Summers
,
Matt Rust
and
Max Pacioretty
will all be making their first with the United States World Junior Team.
Summers and Rust, as former members of the U.S. National Team Developmental Program, have taken part in past international events for Team USA.
Skating as a defenseman this season, Summers has four assists and a +9 rating through 16 games.
Matt Rust has a line of 5-5-10 line through 15 games as the center on the Wolverines second line.
Max Pacioretty will be skating in international competition for the first time. With a 5-10-15 line through 16 games, Pacioretty currently sits fourth on the Wolverines in scoring. Pacioretty is the reigning CCHA Rookie of the Week.
Carl Hagelin
is the fourth selected to the World Junior Championships. Hagelin, who has a line of 5-5-10 in his 16 games this season, will skate for his home country, Sweden.
All four will remain with the Wolverines until after the two-game series with No. 18
Bowling Green
State this weekend.
