Trotwood Madison Ath. Pulls In Michigan Offer

Athlete Michael Shaw from Trotwood-Madison High School in Ohio has been one of the hottest recruits in the Midwest over the past couple of months ... the offers have been piling in, and Michigan's is the latest.

Michael Shaw, a 6-foot-0, 185-pound running back/athlete from Trotwood-Madison High School in Ohio has been one of the hottest recruits in the Midwest over the past couple of months.

Since he picked up his first official offer from Eastern Michigan in mid February, he has been adding major offers at an alarming rate. Penn State, Tennessee, West Virginia, Nebraska, Iowa, Cincinnati, Maryland, Illinois, Akron, Toledo and Miami (Oh) have all made stepped up.

In addition to being a standout on the football field, Shaw is also one of the most exciting track athletes in the "Buckeye State". He will be competing in the State track meet this weekend in Columbus, and has already posted a very impressive 21.3 200 meter time at a meet this season.

Shaw had an impressive 21 touchdowns on 180 carries, while coming up just shy of 1,000 yards for the 2006 season. He averaged 20 yards per catch as a receiver while scoring once on the year; He benches 285 pounds, squats 425 and has a 35-inch vertical jump.

And, Scout.com and GoBlueWolverine have confirmed, Michigan is next ... offering him as an "athlete."
