Michigan Hits Northern Alabama
Michigan was in Harris' school on May 10th, so GoBlueWolverine spoke with him about his interest in the Wolverines.
How many offers do you have at this point?
"I think I'm up to 24 now."
What would you way are your top offers?
"Michigan, Florida, Auburn, Clemson, and Alabama."
GBW note: he also has offers from USC, Georgia, Florida State among his many others.
Are there any schools that you are still talking to that you haven't received an offer from yet?
"Florida State and Miami. Both would be good offers to have."
Are you going to take any summer visits or camps?
"Yeah I'm going to visit LSU, Georgia Tech,Clemson, South Carolina, and Florida."
Are you going to visit Michigan at all this summer?
"No its too far for me to go right now. I'll be looking to take an official visit there."
Do you have a top 3-4-5?
"No not yet. I'm still talking to some schools and I'm open at this point."
What are you looking for in a school?
"A good education, graduation rate, football tradition, and great coaching staff and that I know will be around for the time I'm at the school."
What does your time table look like?
"I will hopefully be deciding at the All-Star All-American Game in San Antonio. I'm going to a combine this weekend at the Georgia Dome (the Scout.com Atlanta Combine) to try out for the team, and I will hear back in either June or July if I got it."
It will be difficult to get a top kid out of Alabama this year of course, although U-M has had some success with Northern 'Bama kids in the past (Max Martin for example). There is another prospect from the same area who was also visited by Michigan on May 10th and who contacted U-M by phone just yesterday: go to the GoBlueWolverine's Premium Message Board, The Victor's Club -- click HERE..
