Darryl Stonum Plans Visit, Names Three

When GoBlueWolverine spoke with Sugar Land Dulles star wideout Darryl Stonum at a track meet this spring, he'd said that he had a top two of Michigan and Florida. Since then he'd gotten a lot more scholarship offers and seemed to be opening up his recruitment considerably. Now, he's focused things back down again.

GoBlueWolverine spoke Sunday afternoon to Sugar Land (in the Houston suburbs) Dulles wide receiver Daryl Stonum (6-2, 200), teammate of Michigan signees Troy Woolfolk and Brandon Herron.

When GoBlueWolverine spoke with Sugar Land Dulles star wideout Darryl Stonum at a track meet in early March, he'd said that he had a top two of Michigan and Florida (click for Stonum to Follow Teammates to U-M?).

Then in later April he told GBW that he'd added to his early favs of Michigan and Florida by getting offers from USC, Florida State, Alabama and others (click for Heavy Hitters Hot on Stonum's Trail). So, with the Texas school year about to end at the end of this week, GBW caught up with the top wideout again.

Now that you have offers from so many schools, have you narrowed down your choices again?

"Yeah. I have a top three now and they are all pretty close. I don't have a clear leader yet. My top three are Michigan, Florida, and USC."

Are you planning to take a visit to Michigan this summer?

"Yes. I might come up right away in early June with Troy (Woolfolk) ... if not then I will come up for the Michigan camp (the week of June 17). I'm not sure which one yet."

Are you planning on visiting Florida and USC this summer too?

"Yeah I want to visit them too ... but it will probably be sometime after my visit to Michigan."
