Reggie Ellis Adds to Offers

D.C. Dunbar Defensive lineman Reggie Ellis (6-2, 265) had a great Pitt Scout.com Combine two weeks ago (click for GBW's story: Ellis the Dominator), and before he could get to the PSU Combine this past Saturday, he told GoBlueWolverine that he'd already added to his offer list:

"Michigan offered me last week."

He had another dominating performance at PSU, and right afterwards he got a Michigan visit.

"Coach Campbell was actually in to see me today!"

How did the visit go?

"Really good. Coach Campbell is a good guy to know."

What offers do you have at this point?

"University of Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Boston College, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, UConn, and Minnesota."

Are there any offers that you still want?

"I have been talking to Miami a lot lately so it would be nice to get one from them too."

Are you planning any summer visits or camps?

"I'm not sure yet. These new offers are just coming in, so I'm still thinking what I want to do and planning on where I'm going to visit."

Do you have a top 3-4-5 yet?

"I'm not really sure yet. I'm still looking at all the schools and figuring out what I like."

What are you looking for in a school?

"I'm looking for a good relationship with the coaches and a quality education. I'm looking at majoring in accounting so a quality school is important to me."

So, Ellis is still open at this poing, but he'll have to narrow things down fast ...

When are you looking to decide?

"I'm going to decide at the end of July."
