His Recruiting Story
Chambers' recruiting story contains just one chapter, and a short one at that. Chambers visited U-M for the February, 2006 Michigan Junior Day. Soon after that he was offered a Michigan scholarship -- and he committed on the spot to the Wolverines. Not only did Chambers commit to Michigan as early as he could, but he enrolled ASAP at U-M as well, starting school at the U for the winter 2007 semester.

GoBlueWolverine Commentary:
Artis Chambers attended the 2006 Michigan Camp, where he was a shade under 5-11 and looked like he'd certainly need a redshirt season in 2007. However, he has had a growth spurt, topping off just over 6-feet-even as a brand new Michigan freshman. As a player he reminds GBW of Brandon Harrison with a little more height. He's had over 15 interceptions in his Snider career, so don't count Chambers out as a future contributor to the Maize and Blue.
