Jared McGaha: U-M Offer Scenario

GoBlueWolverine spoke to Powell, Tennessee offensive lineman Jared McGaha about his Michigan official visit this past weekend. McGaha came into the weekend without a U-M offer ... what was said to him about a possible future offer?

Jared McGaha (6-6, 270) spoke Monday evening to GoBlueWolverine:

"I had a great visit. I got top meet new people, and I like Coach Carr a lot. My host was Corey Zirbel. He was like me in high school, about 270 pounds -- and Corey says he is now steating 'making weight' at the 300 pound limit given to him by the Michigan coaches!"

What did Michigan say to you about an offer?

"They were pretty up front about it with me. They've offered a tackle, from Oklahoma (Matt Romine)."

"Romine is going to make his decision in early January (at the Army All-American game). So that's his deadline, and if he does not pick Michigan, then they will come back to me."

If Michigan came back and offered you, would you say yes?

"If Michigan does offer me? ... most definitely."
