U-M Comes Back at Brandon Herron; He Commits!

We are talking of course about Tex. LB Brandon Herron (6-2, 200) from from Sugar Land Dulles (Houston area), Troy Woolfolk's teammate. He made a Dec. 1 U-M official visit but was not offered. But Michigan came back in his school today, offered -- and he accepted to become Michigan commitment #18.

The Head Coach of Sugar Land Dulles High School, Jim Creech, just told GoBlueWolverine: "Brandon just committed, less than an hour ago ... Coach Jackson just left. Congratulations!"

He was talking of course about Tex. LB Brandon Herron (6-2, 200) from from Sugar Land Dulles (Houston area), Troy Woolfolk's teammate. He's a three-star, and Scout.com's #38 Texas prospect.

Herron had a great senior season, and made a Dec. 1 U-M official visit. He was not offered, but Michigan came back in his school today, offered -- and he accepted!

He's a speed backer, with Nike Combine stats of: 4.55 sec. 50, 4.25 sec. shuttle, 21 bench press reps, 37.4 inch vertical jump.
