The University of Michigan ice hockey team dropped the puck on the 2006-07 regular season with wins against Alabama-Huntsville and UConn this past weekend. As a result, the Wolverines jumped one spot in the USCHO.com/CSTV Poll while remaining No. 5 in the USA Today/American Hockey poll.

After starting the season with two victories at Yost Ice Arena, the Wolverines climbed one spot in the USCHO.com/CSTV Poll into the top 5.
