Washington to Announce Next Week

For the second time in as many weeks, reports surfaced yesterday that Orchard Lake St. Mary's wideout Taurian Washington had committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes. GoBlueWolverine caught up with the youngster last night to get the latest on the status of his recruitment

Orchard Lake St. Mary's wide receiver Taurian Washington confirmed with GoBlueWolverine last night that he had indeed come to a decision.  However, as was the case last week, he was not yet ready to confirm published reports that Ohio State is the choice.

"I will be announcing my decision on August 15," Washington said.  "In the meantime I would just like to sit back and wait for that day to let everyone know.  Man, Dre, my phone has been ringing off the hook with people calling me about where I am going.  Me and my family would like to just relax without all of the phone calls so that I will have my chance to let everyone know on August 15."

Washington indicated that Ohio State and Michigan were the two schools that he ultimately chose between.
