“I'm down to Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida, Miami (FL) and South Carolina," Hemingway said. The versatile wideout indicated that he still planned on making a decision before his season starts on August 25th, but acknowledged that the process may extend it into the season if he hasn’t settled on a choice by then.
“Right now I’m aiming before the season but if not, it will be into the season," said Hemingway.
What will ultimately be the deciding factors? “Me just knowing that’s where I want to go," he said. "Me just knowing where I want to spend four years of college at.”
Hemingway took one of his more recent visits to in-state South Carolina and rated the experience a “seven” on a scale from one to ten. While proximity is naturally a large pitch for the home state school, Hemingway says he wouldn’t mind going far away to school and insisted that his parents “don’t mind” either.
Overall, the Conway High School product said all his visits went well and were all equally impressive. “All of them stuck out," he said. "It’s just that I couldn’t pick one over the other."
Though Junior stated he wouldn’t mind leaving home, he is looking for a school that feels a lot like it.
“I want a place where I know that it feels like home," said Hemingway. "I want a place where I know me and the coaches can get along, and parents can get along with them too.”
