The 6-1, 260-pound lineman from Illinois was a Michigan Camper, where he was extremely impressive and earned a Michigan scholarship offer. On Saturday he returned to Ann Arbor for U-M's Junior Day ... and he plans to make his decision sooner rather than later ...
Offensive lineman
Dave Molk
from Lemont Township in the Chicago Suburbs is not the tallest O-liner in the world -- but at the U-M Camp this summer he was arguably the best OL there.
On Saturday he returned to Ann Arbor for U-M's Junior Day.
"I was at Michigan but I my family and I didn't go around with the group.I was definitely there though -- we got a tour from Coach Moeller."
So are you any closer to a decision?
"Yes, I am. In fact I think I've made up my mind on where to go, but I'm not quite ready to announce it yet. I just want to think about it a
little
more to be sure. But I'll decide before school starts, and maybe as soon as the end of next week."
Who are your finalists?
"Michigan, Iowa, West Virginia and Wisconsin. I've been to all four schools this summer."
Michigan fans won't have to wait too much longer to see if the Wolverines land Molk. And, by the way, his mother promises us he'll grow to 6-3 before he's done!
