Jonas Mouton Officially Goes Blue

Michigan has been on top with California safety Jonas Mouton for a number of months now. A few major programs attempted to knock Maize and Blue off of that perch recently, but the five-star defensive back wanted to be a Wolverine. Now he is.

GoBlueWolverine was just informed moments ago the Venice High (CA) safety Jonas Mouton is officially in the fold for the Wolverines. "Jonas sent in his signed letter this morning," Mouton's brother said to GoBlueWolverine's Don Hoekwater. "We aren't going to have a press conference."

Mouton is Michigan's fifth five star prospect in the 2006 class, and its second Army All-American defensive back (along with Steve Brown).

Stay tuned to GoBlueWolverine for more from Mouton himself later in the day.
