Mouton Adjusts Favorites after Trip to Texas
The trip was nice enough to cause him to make an adjustment in his list of finalists. What had once been perceived as a battle between Michigan, USC, and LSU has now changed. "I'm going to decide between Michigan, USC, and Texas," he said. "I've dropped LSU because they really haven't shown a lot of interest lately."
Mouton said that he had no more coaching visits scheduled, though he had spoken with Michigan defensive backs coach Ron English earlier in the day.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Mouton said he would make his decision on Signing Day, and simply call the coaches of each school to inform them of his choice. "A press conference just isn't me," he said.
It has been a trying time for the talented youngster, but one thing has been constant. He has always claimed to have a favorite, though that school has never been publicly announced. "The Texas trip didn't really change anything in that regard," he said.
