It's getting down to the wire for safety Jonas Mouton of Venice, Calif., High School. The five-star…
Mouton Talks about Upcoming Decision
The 6-foot-2, 208-pound Mouton will decide amongst Michigan, USC, and LSU. He has maintained for some time that he has a favorite, but has not publicly announced the lucky school. He said nothing has changed in that regard. He visited Michigan on Sept. 10, LSU on Oct. 14, and USC on Dec. 12.
Mouton told GoBlueWolverine.com in San Antonio that he would most likely not announce his decision at the game. With a contingent of almost 40 family members on hand to watch their star play, speculation was that he might, in fact, announce on NBC. Mouton said he never really gave serious thought to announcing. "I'm not a real flashy guy," he said.
In a game far different than the blowout of the previous year, the East squad defeated the West 27-16. "I think I could have played a little better," Mouton said. "It was fun and I got to hang out with a lot of the players, but I didn't like losing."
The big man didn't say if any coaches would be visiting in the near future, that mainly he was concentrating in school. He said he would participate in track in the spring, running the 200 and 400-meter events.
