Versatile forward that is big enough to score over smaller defenders down
low and quick enough to take bigger defenders off the dribble from outside.
Excellent face up shooter with range out to the three point line. Needs
to work on maintaining intensity (especially defensively). Is working to
improve his strength and conditioning by working out with former Michigan
fullback Stan Edwards. Averaged 24 points, 12 rebounds.while leading Pershing
to the Regionals. Detroit News All-State Dream Team. Detroit Free Press

Lighting quick point guard that can score from anywhere on the floor.
Excellent dribbler that has the ball on a string. Big time shooter that
can have a huge day from behind the arc on any given night. Underrated leaper
(can rise and dunk). Plays much bigger than his size. A natural born leader.
Tries to do a little too much at times. More of a scorer than a distributor
at this point and is looking to improve his point guard skills on the summer
circuit with the Michigan Hurricanes. Needs to improve on getting his teammates
involved. Carried his BV team on his back during the season, but they were
put out in the Regionals by Harper Woods, 80-71. Averaged 30 points, seven
rebounds, six assists and three steals per game. Detroit News All-State
Dream Team. Detroit Free Press All-State Dream Team. Selected to compete
in the USA Youth Development Festival. |

Big time scorer that is a high energy player. Can stroke it from behind
the arc. Big time leaper that can go up and dunk over his man and is hard
to keep off of the boards. His mid-range game is getting better all of the
time. Clutch player. Needs to improve game-time concentration and defensive
intensity. Needs to work on dribbling. Better athlete and better shooter
than Ramar Smith, but lacks his counterpart's court awareness. His Belleville
club was put out by Romulus in the districts despite his huge 28 point effort.
Averaged 17.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks.Will
be running with Speedy Walker's "The Family" AAU squad this summer

Powerful wing player that is a physical mismatch for opponents at the
high school level. Good first step that allows him to get into the lane
as well as some of the best prospects in the country. Plays with an edge
and is very good in the clutch. Needs to improve his jumper. Game similar
to that of a smaller Jerry Stackhouse. Needs to improve his dribbling if
he is to get minutes at the one at the next level. King was put out in the
Regionals by Pershing 82-72 despite his 31 points.Detroit News All-State

Towering prospect that runs the floor extremely well. Coordinated. Big
time shot blocker. Has effective moves with his back to the basket. Must
get bigger and stronger. Has been pushed around by players of equal or bigger
size. Mostly potential at this point. His Powers club was shocked by Perry
in the Regionals 57-54. Averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and five blocks.

Excellent all-around player that can do a bit of everything on the court.
Good passer. Underrated athlete. Range has improved to out beyond the three
point line and can score off the dribble. A leader that plays with an edge.
If this list were based solely upon potential, he'd rank higher. Needs to
continue to improve dribbling skills and shot consistency. Has to get stronger.
On the ball defense is good, but can get better ...especially against smaller
players. Morris is poised to make his way further up this list...at least
to #5. His 20 points helped lead Grand Blanc to a 82-53 victory over Chippewa
Valley. Detroit News 2nd team All-State (Class A). Detroit Free Press 3rd

Tough player that goes all out on the court. Willing to anything to help
his team win. Good shooter and clutch player that is a flat out winner.
Overpowers opposing guards at the high school level. Not a great leaper,
needs to improve lateral quickness, and has to improve dribbling skills
to play point at the next level...but overcomes deficiencies with heart
and sheer will to win. Led South Christian to the Class B state title averaging
25 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and three steals. Scored 37 points
in the semifinal round and 43 in the finals...third highest in tournament
history. Detroit News 1st team All-State (Class B). Detroit Free Press All-State
Dream Team. Tore his ACL in an AAU contest in late May and will be out of
action until September. |

Good ball handler. Can get in the lane with the best of them. Good leaper.
Needs to be more consistent and assertive (that could come as he gets more
comfortable in his new settings). Detroit News 3rd team All-State (Class

dribbling skills. A little too unselfish at times. |

Has ability to score on the block despite his size. Good back to the basket
moves and has a soft touch. Can stick the 15-footer and is a very good rebounder.
A power forward's game in a small forward's body. Has to improve his off
the dribble skills. Can shoot a little too much at times. |
