Justin Boren ended weeks of speculation today when he decided to follow in
his father's footsteps and don the Maize and Blue. Boren called GoBlueWolverine
from Ann Arbor earlier today to break the news.
"My mom couldn't come up before," Boren said from campus. "She
had some questions that were answered today, so I went ahead and committed to
Michigan.."

At one time Boren appeared very close to becoming a Buckeye, but a late push
by the Wolverines…capped by a strong pitch prior to last weekend's Nike
camp…was just enough to swing him Michigan's way. "There are some
things that would have made it easier for me to commit to Ohio State,"
Boren said. "But in the end, I just wanted to go to Michigan."
"I'm going to graduate in December and enroll in January. I'll travel
with the team to the bowl and practice during bowl week."
Boren will become the second freshman in as many years to join the Wolverines
a semester early. Current freshman running back Kevin Grady graduated from high
school last December and practiced with the Wolverines during Rose Bowl prep.
GoBlueWolverine will have more from Boren later in the day.
