With the season over and the All-State honors announced, we take one last look at the class of 2005.

1	Wilson Chandler Benton Harbor	WF	6-7/190	DePaul	The 25th recipient of Michigan'sMr. Basketball award. Highly skilled scorer that can nail the face-up jumper out to 18-feet. Extremely active on the boards and out-quicks opponents underneath. Good athlete that is a quick but not explosive leaper. Must get both bigger and stronger to be as effective at the next level. Averaged 22 points, 12 rebounds. Detroit Free Press All-State Dream Team, Detroit News All-State Dream Team.
2	Chris Douglas-Roberts Detroit Northwestern	PG/SG	6-5/170	Memphis	Crafty scorer that can manufacture shots going to the basket. Excellent dribbling ability for his size. Excels in one-on-one situations. More of a scoring guard at this point. Must gain size and strength (like Chandler) to excel in college. Also has to work on getting teammates involved. (Missed half of the season do to transfer rules).
3	Zach Gibson Grand Blanc	PF/C	6-8/215	Rutgers	Big man that can step out and hit 10-12 footer. Also can shoot it from beyond the arc. Has really improved his game in his senior season. Rebounds, runs floor, solid defender. Needs to play all out all of the time. Also needs to be more physical, which may come with increased size. Helped lead Grand Blanc to the Regionals averaging 16.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.2 blocks, 2.6 assists. Detroit News 1st team All-State (Class A). Detroit Free Press 1st team All-State (Class A)
4	Jerret Smith Romulus	PG	6-3/200	Michigan	Consummate point guard. Best passer in the state. Excels at getting teammates easy shots. Excellent dribbler that can go anywhere on the court. Needs to work on his consistency from the outside. Also must do a better job of finishing plays going to the basket. Averaged 15 points, 5.8 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 2.6 steals a game while leading Romulus to the State title game. Detroit News 1st team All-State (Class A). 5	Mike Bramos Grosse Pointe North	WF	6-5/190	Miami (OH)	Scores in a variety of ways both inside and out. Range out to the three point line. Needs to improve dribbling skills. Has to play more physical. Scored 31 points in defeat of Keith Mackenzie's DeLaSalle team. Averaged 20 points, eight rebounds and two steals in leading Grosse Pointe North to the state semifinals.. Detroit Free Press All-State Dream Team, Detroit News All-State Dream Team.
6	Keith Mackenzie Warren DeLaSalle	PG/SG	6-2/190	Oakland University	Great shooter. Plays well in the clutch. A leader that has been underrated do to lack of exposure. Good passer, but needs to improve dribbling skills. Not the most athletic player on this list, but still gets the job done. Scored nine points in DeLaSalle's district loss to Grosse Pointe North. Averaged 23 points pe game. Detroit News 2nd team All-State (Class A). Detroit Free Press 2nd team All-State (Class A).
7	Anthony Sparks Detroit Murray Wright	PF/C	6-8/310		Graceful for his size with excellent feet. Soft touch out 15 feet. Weight continues to be an issue. A below the rim player. (Missed majority of season do to torn meniscus).
8	Jabari Currie Detroit Pershing	PG/SG	6-3/185	DePaul	Good offensive player. Can get to the basket, but is not a true point guard. Takes ill-advised shots. Can be streaky. Detroit Free Press 6th team All-State (Class A).
9	Zane Gay Olivet	WG	6-4/195	Eastern Michigan	Scores in bunches, but needs to improve the other parts of his game.Led Olivet to the Class C state title averaging 22.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 2.0 assists.. Detroit News 1st team All-State (Class C). Detroit Free Press 1st team All-State (Class C)
10	Eric Kangas DeWitt	WG	6-4/200	Oakland University	Great shooter, but can he be more? Averaged 17.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals in leading DeWitt to the Districts. Detroit News 2nd team All-State (Class B). Detroit Free Press 1st team All-State (Class B)
