"Adrian hasn't made up mind yet."

We talked Thursday evening to the mother of Cedar Rapids, Iowa wide receiver Adrian Arrington. Adrian has now set a tentative decision timetable!

The mother of wide receiver Adrian Arrington (Dec. 12 official visit, 2002 U-M Camper, U-M Nike stats: 6-4, 177 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 32.4 inch vertical, 4.28 sec. shuttle … 3.5 GPA, from Cedar Rapids, Ia., George Washington) told GoBlueWolverine Magazine:

"Adrian had a visit here last night with Coach Carr and Coach Campbell."

"He hasn't made up mind yet."

"He does have his UCLA visit to take yet this weekend. They're still one of schools on his top five list so he's going to take that visit. And he did tell the coaches that. He actually leaves for UCLA Saturday. He has a basketball game Friday night, so he'll leave on Saturday. He doesn't have school Monday so he'll be back sometime Monday morning."

"Then he will sit down and make a list of pros and cons on each school. And he told the Michigan coaches he would try to make his decision next week. He'll decide for sure by the end of the month. But he does plan to get it done next week."

"Right now it is Michigan and Iowa. The decision is his ... we're not pressuring him one way or the other. The pressure he's getting is from the college coaches!"

"He gets back from UCLA on Monday, then Tuesday he has a basketball game."

How's the basketball season going for Adrian?

"He's averaging 12-14 points, and 10-11 rebounds. He's playing the "3" and "4" spots (wing and strong forward). They have a new coach, with a new style. So they still have to work through some things. They're 4-5 right now."

"Also, Adrian won't be doing any track this spring. He'll take the track season and rest, and lift weights. At the U.S. Army All Star Game he hurt his ankle on a catch he made. He said he felt his body turn but not his ankle. But he didn't tell anybody because he didn't want to come out! So he will take the time this spring to make sure that his ankle heals up."

Arrington, TheInsiders.com's #64 prospect, also made an official visit to Pitt.
