It's getting close to signing day and Michigan picked up another verbal commitment, only this one is for the class of 2005! Schroeder (Webster, N.Y.) Junior OL
Justin Schifano
is reported to have given notice he will sign with the Wolverines.
Every year there are new names that surface as signing day approaches. This year is no different though this new name still has over a year of high school remaining until he can pen his name on the dotted line. Schroeder (Webster, N.Y.) OL
Justin Schifano
(6-5, 296 lbs, 5.07 in the 40, ) told the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle that he intends to play football for the University of Michigan. “I’m pumped to be going to Michigan, that I’ve been given that opportunity,’’ the two-time All-Greater Rochester lineman said. "When I did my research I looked for academics and football, the place where there is the best balance. It seemed like a perfect fit."
"Plus, I’ve liked the team my whole life. That’s my kind of football, the running game," Schifano told the Democrat and Chronicle.
Schifano becomes the third Wolverne commitment for the class of 2005, joining East Grand Rapids running back
Kevin Grady
and Kentucky DL
James Mckinney
.
Schroeder coach Anthony Bianchi said. "He’s (Schifano) super-competitive. He’s very athletic and agile for a guy his size. He’s mastered many of the techniques he will need."
GoBlueWolverine Magazine will have more on the Schifano commitment later, stay tuned. For the entire Democrat and Chronicle article click
