The Michigan Men's Basketball team rolled on to its second win of the season by taking out High Point 84-49 in front of 9,740 fans at Crisler Arena Wednesday night. Daniel Horton led all scorers with 18 points.

The hoops team continued its strong opening to this season by beating up on High Point 84-49, already improving on last seasons 0-6 start. This team appears to be showing the rest of the nation that Michigan basketball has indeed returned and will be a force to be reckoned with.

The Wolverines, led by Horton and freshman Dion Harris, jumped out to a 21-2 first half lead and went into the locker room at the half with a 47-19 margin. Harris was 4-5 from beyond the three-point arc and 5-6 overall. The team shot 57 percent from the floor. Freshman Brent Petway had 12 points and seven rebounds.

Junior Zione White led the Panthers scoring with 11.

After the game Horton has this to say about the Wolverines, "I think we played a great game and we played good defense. We had too many turnovers on the offensive end and we didn't execute at times."

Michigan goes on the road Sunday against Butler in Indianapolis.
