Joe Crawford and Guard/Wing Depth (Updated)

Joe Crawford will finally put an end to his re-recruitment when he makes public what school he’s going to play his college basketball at on Monday at 5:30pm. GBW spoke to Durand “Speedy” Walker this afternoon (coach of Joe’s AAU tem, “The Family”) and he indicated that he’d be on hand if/when Joe pulls the trigger.

“I don’t know what he’s going to do,” Walker said. “He had told me that he was going to be making a decision, but at that point I don’t think he had his mind made up. I still don’t know that he has. We’ll just have to see.” There have been scores of rumors about which way young Mr. Crawford is leaning. However, there still seems to be a bit of confidence around the streets of Ann Arbor. One of the major arguments against the Wolverines in their courtship of this athletic phenom has been that of playing time. But, when looking at the rosters, the PT scenario appears (at the very least) to be equal. Below we take a final look at the depth at the point and wing positions at both schools. It will be clear on Monday whether or not this really was a factor.
