King: Michigan BBQ Was 'Amazing'

Darien (Ill.) Hinsdale South 2016 defensive end Josh King recaps his Michigan visit.

Darien (Ill.) Hinsdale South 2016 defensive end Josh King took part in Michigan’s annual recruiting showcase on Sunday -- The Barbecue at the Big House – and after spending the day with the U-M coaching staff, the four-star prospects says he came impressed after his visit.

“It was amazing,’ King said. “I loved the experience of hanging out and meeting all of the coaches. I really liked talking to [U-M assistant coach Curt] Mallory and head coach Brady Hoke. I really feel like I had a strong connection with them.”

With notable offers from Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame, where do the Wolverines now stand in his recruitment?

“I’m not completely sure right now,” King said. “But I am definitely considering them in my top-five after my second visit.

“I’ll be releasing my top-five schools this Friday,” King noted.

King has already been on campus visits to Iowa, Michigan State, Michigan and Notre Dame.

At the moment, he says he has no more scheduled visits. However, he did say if he were to come back to Michigan, he would like to bond more with the team.

“I would just love to meet more players,” King said.
