Barajas Calls Michigan Offer "Huge"

Barajas Calls Michigan Offer "Huge"

Offer number three is in for Andrean (Ind.) junior linebacker Josh Barajas. It's Michigan. When will the fast rising prospect make it to Ann Arbor?

Already with Big Ten offers from Illinois and Purdue, Andrean High's Josh Barajas reported to Scout that the Michigan Wolverines offered today.

"It's huge," he said. "To get an offer from program like that is huge."

The Wolverines were in the school recently and once defensive coordinator Greg Mattison saw Barajas' film, it was a done deal.

"Coach Mallory said their defensive coordinator finally got to see the film and liked what he saw so they extended an offer."

He added, "I like Coach Mallory a lot. He's a real down to earth guy. He told me all Michigan has to offer and he said there is going to be way more when I take the visit."

Barjas has never been to Ann Arbor, but says, "I plan to go down there, the said the date and it will be later in February."

He also has visits to a couple of other top Midwestern programs soon.

"Michigan State is February 16, so next weekend. Notre Dame, I'm going down on March 1st."
