Lewan a Lombardi Semifinalist

Taylor Lewan

Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan has made the latest cut for the 44th Rotary Lomardi Award.

Michigan fifth-year senior tackle Taylor Lewan was named one of 12 semifinalists for the 2013 Rotary Lombardi Award. The Wolverine captain was one of four offensive linemen to make the cut and was the Big Ten’s only representative.

If Lewan wins the award December 11th he will add it to an already crowded trophy case.  The senior captain was named a 2012 All American by the Walter Camp by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Associated Press, ESPN.com and SI.com. He also was named All Big Ten and was the offensive lineman of the year.

Lewan has not allowed a sack in 2013.
