Dravon Henry Talks Michigan Offer

Aliquippa (Pa.) High 2014 cornerback, Dravon Henry is one of the top players from the Keystone state. GBW, caught up with the four-star prospect, as he talked about his Michigan offer, a possible visit to Ann Arbor, other schools of interest, what he is looking for in a program and more.

Dravon Henry has double digit offers from notable programs such as Ohio State, Pitt, Penn State and West Virginia, to name a few.

The University of Michigan also put its name in Henry's recruiting hat last month when the Wolverines' extended an offer to the 2014 cornerback out of Aliquippa (Pa.) High.

"Michigan came by the school about two weeks ago," Henry told GoBlueWolverine. "They basically said they offered and they really want us. If we got the chance, they really would like me to come up and visit. Right now they really can't talk to me. But I know coaches are able to make one phone call a month coming up. I know they should be hitting me up…Michigan is a great program and all. I definitely have to look at them now."

At 5-foot-11, 180-pounds, Henry has already been on campus visits to West Virginia, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Rutgers and Michigan State. Is a visit to Ann Arbor in his future?

"Yeah, I'll probably go up there and check them out. I would like to make that trip," Henry said.

Rated a four-star prospect and No.11 CB in the latest Scout.com rankings, Henry also has BCS offers from Florida State, Miami (Fla.), Kentucky and Louisville, among others.

"Every school that offers I am going to take serious," Henry said on his offer list. "I got a chance to play at any of those schools. Just playing Division I football period, I am going to look at every offer I got. I mean, that's an opportunity that most kids don't get."

As far as what he looking for in a program, Henry said a place he can call "home" for next four years.

"A place I can feel like home," Henry explained. "Like I feel like if I am walking in the stadium it feels like it reminds of Aliquippa football. Just things like that."

Henry says he plans a possible visit to Maryland this summer. He also doesn't intend on participating in any of the high profile camps this summer. He says he is nowhere near his final school decision.
