Much of the talk this weekend has surrounded around who's No. 1 – Indiana or Miami? What might not be getting enough play is the fact that the hottest team in the coutry might actually be the Spartans, who have won 11 out of their last 12 and seem to be gelling at the right point in the season.
"If your not ready to battle, you can get exposed," said Nebraska freshman Shavon Shields. "I tip my hat to him, they played really well."
With one of the quietest, best games of the season, Nebraska senior forward Dylan Talley torched the Spartans for 28 points, which included shooting 50 perecnt from the field, and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line. But after the game, the senior wasn't as upbeat.
"I don't care about the 28, we lost," said Talley. "I'd rather score five and we win, just have to keep pushing that's all."
"He was so good," said Miles. "He's so fun to watch when he gets going.I just kept running stuff for him because I was having a blast watching him; it was great. We could have used a couple of other guys like that, you know? Dylan was great too. I think you have to commend Dylan; he took on a real big load of the offense and did an excellent job."
Miles also showed his praise for Talley.

A name that was not called a lot tonight was senior Ray Gallegos. Gallegos was 0-13 from the field, which included 0-10 from the three-point line. However, Miles isn't ready to take the ball out of his hands just yet.
"You just have to stick with him," said Miles. "I believe in Ray, it's a bad night, and he'll have a good night next game. I still feel like he's going to come through like a champ next chance he gets."
The Huskers next play Thursday, against the Iowa Hawkeyes. Game time is set for 8 p.m. CT, on ESPN2.
*-With 14 points today, Nerbasaka senior Brandon Ubel moved into the top 50 scorers in school history and now has 755 points, tying Bus Whitehead (1948-50) and Jorge Brian Diaz (2010-12) for 48th place on the chart.
*-Dylan Talley collected his fourth 20-point game of the season with 20 points and tied his season high with eight rebounds. Talley's 20 point is his highest total in a Big Ten game at Nebraska
