Midlothian (Va.) Manchester wide receiver Jonathan Duhart has started to generate some buzz on the recruiting trail. The junior wide receiver had a good season and his best football is ahead of him.

Although All-American Holland Fisher got a lot of attention for Manchester's football team and deservingly so, junior wide receiver Jonathan Duhart had a strong season and his play did not go unnoticed.

"I think Penn State probably communicates with me the most," he said. "I'm also hearing from N.C. State, Virginia Tech, UVA, North Carolina, and Michigan."

It has been a busy fall for the Duhart.

"I've visited N.C. State, UNC, UVA, and Penn State," Duhart said. "I enjoyed all the visits. I might visit UVA again."

Two coaches have made an early impression on the playmaker.

"I really like Coach (Jim) Reid at UVA and Coach (Charles) London at Penn State," he said.

The junior knows what he does well on the football field.

"I think my strong point is being able to go up and get the ball in the air," said Duhart. "I also do a good job getting open."

Duhart is a strong student, so academics will play a big role in his decision.

"I'm looking for a good academic program because I want to major in forensics or biochemistry," he said. "I also want to go to a school that throws the ball."

He finished the season with 50 catches for 775 yards and nine touchdowns.
