The Nebraska Cornhuskers host their only exhibition game on Wednesday night.

LINCOLN, Neb. - The new look Nebraska Men's basketball team will host their only exhibition of the season on Wednesday night, when the Midland Warriors come to town.

Entering his first season, new head coach Tim Miles' squad has been picked last in the Big Ten and been labeled a project.

"We know what the expectations are. I have seen where we have been picked. You don't hide anything from your players, it's the information age," said Miles. "You have to earn confidence and earn victories. That's what I'm going to hopefully do early in the season.

"Then who knows what can happen. A team you sometimes you think you have October and November, is certainly not the team you have in January, February, and March."

Miles says the exhibition comes at the perfect time.

"I'm tired of seeing them in practice, so I can't wait to see them in a game," said Miles. "It's just like anything, you have to go out and better the competition, I think that is where we are at.

"We are not where we want to be, as far as giving a level or a scale, it would be hard for me to do...We need how to win, we need to learn how to deal with adversity, when things start to go bad, we can't fall apart."
