Should be a great game to get the 2012 football season going in the Lone Star State. Television: FOX Sports Ohio | Simulcast on FOXSportsOhio.com. The Trotwood-Madison Rams head across town for what is sure to be a major battle against the Wayne Warriors. These two teams battled last season with Trotwood winning 47-27 on their way to an undefeated season and winning Ohio's Division II title. The Rams have four players already committed to Big Ten programs as Cameron Burrows (Ohio State), Michael McCray (Michigan), Jarrod Clements and Reon Dawson (Illinois). Clements, who is recovering from knee surgery, may not be back in time for this game. The Rams also have defensive end Tre Williams-Brown who holds offers from Arizona and several Mid American Conference programs. While loaded in the 2013 class, the Rams also have three players in the 2014 class already holding offers. Lineman Verondtae Wilkinson (Buffalo, Illinois, Ohio, Toledo), wide receiver Kendric Mallory (Illinois) and running back Ashton Jackson (Cincinnati, Illinois, Purdue, Toledo). The Warriors may not have the star power of the Rams this fall, but they still have plenty of talent led by quarterback Javon Harrison who pledged to Cincinnati this summer as a safety. Lovell Peterson holds offers from West Virginia, Illinois and Ohio and could see a move fulltime to defensive tackle after starting along the offensive line the past three seasons. Wide receiver Jesse Bray is a player starting to get high interest and holds an offer from Ohio while offensive lineman Cole Newsome is one of the better technique players in Ohio still looking for his first offer. Linebacker Dorian Hendrix is one of the top 2014 prospects in Ohio and has already picked up offers from Toledo, Illinois, Buffalo and Bowling Green. Hendrix is also receiving heavy interest from Ohio State, Notre Dame and Michigan State to name a few.
