Quarterback Shane Morris (6'3/200) committed to Michigan more than a year ago, and the Wolverine fans have had ample time to follow his progress from event to event and season to season.

Last year Morris impressed on a national stage when he took his Maximum Exposure (Max Ex) team from Michigan to Bradenton, Fla. to win the inaugural IMG 7v7 National Championship.

Morris led his team to the Championship game in 2012 where Max Ex fell short against a talented Team Tampa squad (story).

Morris once again showed why he is such a highly regarded quarterback prospect, currently No. 3 nationally in a very deep year for quarterbacks. He is the prototypical gunslinger. He has a quick delivery and a strong arm. He doesn't need to set his feet to generate velocity on his throws and can whip the ball from several arm angles.

Like most gunslingers, Morris isn't afraid to take chances with the ball. Most of the time that works to his advantage, but at times he takes unnecessary chances throwing into traffic.

When Morris is on, he's as good as any quarterback in the country. He just needs to develop a level of consistency that matches his physical talent to reach his full potential.

Here is a look at him in action from the weekend's action at the IMG 7v7 National Championships in Bradenton, Fla.
