John Ross is among the top players in the West Coast class, regardless of position. He's a dynamic receiver and also a quality cornerback and a few of his offers were actually for the defensive side of the ball.
"Michigan offered me for corner," Ross said. "San Diego State and San Jose State did as well but most of my offers are at receiver. California, Oregon, Washington State, Arizona State, Arizona, Nebraska, Utah, Hawaii, and Colorado State all offered me recently.
"It was crazy, they just kind of all came one after the other but it was pretty exciting. I have everyone in the Pac 12 except USC and Stanford now plus all the others. Right now, I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do. I was always planning to take all my visits but with all these new options, I'm really going to take my time and do as much research as possible before figuring out my visits."
Ross will take a couple of unofficial visits over the next two weeks.
"I'm going up to UCLA today and then Washington next week," Ross said. "UCLA has their camp but I'm not working out, I'm just going to hang out and talk with the coaches. I think I'm going up to Washington on Thursday and them coming home because I'm doing the B2G camp Friday-Sunday.
"That's all I have planned right now. As for official visits, I know I want to check out Oregon and then probably some of the schools out of the region like Michigan. The in-state schools, I can just do an unofficial visit there and I'll probably wait until Signing Day to make my decision."
