Mitch McGary Makes it Michigan!

Scout.com's #2 2012 prospect has just picked the Wolverines on ESPNU, saying, "Next fall I'm going to Ann Arbor, Michigan and going to become a Wolverine!" And he explains why he made the choice and whether he'll hi LOI sign next week.

Mitch McGary 6-10, 250 from Brewster Academy (NH) picked Michigan over Duke and Florida.

"Next fall I'm going to Ann Arbor, Michigan and going to become a Wolverine!" And he explains why he made the choice and whether he'd sign next week. "I felt most comfortable being there, and I trusted the coaches more than any other coaching staff. I could talk to them about everything. I know they're on the rise again and I felt like I could help build that program up and make an impact my freshman year."

As far as signing his LOI (the signing period is the 9-16th). "I have to talk it over with my parents. I thing they would like to be there when I would sign, so I'm not really sure or not if I'm going to next week."

As far as playing at U-M next year he said, "I'd like to bring a national championship to Ann Arbor next year."
