At the high school level coaches will look to utilize the athletes they have in as many ways possible. That is certainly the case at Hudson (OH) high where junior, Ben Gedeon is an integral piece to the puzzle on both offense and defense. At running back he is a load to bring down, displaying good feet, power, and adequate speed. Those traits allowed the c/o 2013 star to make his way into the end zone three times Friday on a cold, rainy night while playing on a field fully equipped with mud.
At linebacker -- the position for which Gedeon already holds offers from Michigan, Penn State, Tennessee -- and Boston College, the 6-2, 215-pounder definitely makes his presence felt. The Buckeye State star moves very well and shows good instincts for the position. On a night that only required the four-star linebacker to play a little more than one half, he delivered more than a few licks before exiting in the third quarter.
After the game Gedeon talked about his relationship with Michigan, his plans for another visit to Ann Arbor, and who he grew up following in this GBW video interview.
